I am an integrated MS/Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at POSTECH, advised by Prof. Gwangsun Kim in the Parallel System Architecture Lab. My research focuses on near-data processing (NDP) and memory expansion with an emphasis on optimizing computing systems to overcome the memory wall challenge. Specifically, I explore techniques for expanding memory and NDP by leveraging advanced interconnect technologies such as Compute Express Link (CXL).
Before joining the Parallel System Architecture Lab, I led web-service infrastructure at a startup company, where I gained hands-on experience in technology development and entrepreneurship. After completing my Ph.D., I am interested in founding or joining a startup, leveraging my expertise in computing systems to drive innovation.
